Mr. Dwaraka Ayengar is the Chief Operating Officer for Wipro – LDW business in Malaysia. Dwaraka has had experience of nearly 20 years in the CPG industry. Dwaraka is highly experienced in roles related to branding, new product development, media, consumer insights, sales, M&A and trade marketing.  Apart from India, he has worked in multiple geographies of South East Asia spread over a period of 10 years.

Dwaraka began his career with ORG – MARG / Nielsen in their retail audit division. A strong desire to understand marketing and branding prompted him to change to brand management with Zydus Cadila Healthcare Ltd. Post that he has been with Wipro Consumer Care for 15 years over two stints. Within Wipro he has handled a variety of roles spread across various functions. In his last role with Wipro he was responsible for setting up of the skincare business for the group in Indonesia. He launched Safi in Indonesia and within two years managed to build up a team of more than 650 personnel spread across marketing, sales, purchasing planning and beauty consultant management. Safi has achieved great success in a very short time and is one of the leading mass market skin care brands in Indonesia.

In his current role as Chief Operating Officer in Wipro-LDW, he oversees all aspects of the company and its activities.

Dwaraka is a gold medallist in the MBA program of Sardar Patel University (1999) and also a college gold medallist in his undergraduate course in Industrial Chemistry (1997) from the same university.
